Ubisoft révèle ses nouveaux titres sur Nintendo DS Star Wars : Episode III - La revanche des Sith, King Kong de Peter Jackson et Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory seront disponibles dans le monde entier en 2005

Ubisoft annonce aujourd'hui que plusieurs titres, actuellement en développement pour la nouvelle console portable Nintendo DS, s'ajouteront aux jeux déjà annoncés en novembre dernier. Lors de la conférence de presse européenne Nintendo DS, Yves Guillemot a confirmé la sortie de Star Wars : Episode III - La revanche des Sith ce printemps, et a annoncé qu'une version DS de King Kong, basée sur le film d'Universal Pictures sortant le 14 décembre 2005 et réalisé par Peter Jackson, lauréat de trois Academy Awards (Trilogie Le Seigneur des Anneaux), était actuellement en développement pour une sortie fin 2005. En outre, dès cet été, Ubisoft publiera Bomberman DS, du développeur japonais Hudson Soft Co., Ltd.

Ubisoft dévoile aussi que Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, nouvel opus très attendu du jeu d'infiltration, sera également disponible sur la console portable dans le courant de l'année. D'autres jeux basés sur les franchises internes complèteront plus tard la gamme de jeux d'Ubisoft.

Ces jeux rejoignent ceux déjà annoncés pour accompagner le lancement officiel de la Nintendo DS : Rayman DS et Asphalt: Urban GT. Asphalt: Urban GT, vendu à plus de 180 000 unités depuis sa sortie, est actuellement disponible aux Etats-Unis et au Canada, et Rayman DS sera en magasin dès mars en Amérique du Nord. Rayman DS et Asphalt: Urban GT sortiront en même temps que le lancement de la console en Europe.
