The PS2 video games decreased by -11% in units and by -24% in value compared to December 2005. The X-Box video games went down by -56% in units and by -73% in value, and Game Cube video games decreased by -49% in units and by -57% in value. Nintendo Wii realized a good market penetration : Wii video games
represents 8,1% in units and 12% in value of the total videos games sold this month.
The average price of Video Games for Consoles went down by -10% from 43,2€ in December 2005 to 39,0€ this year.
The market concentration was the same as in 2005: 73 items accounted for 50% of sales units and 45 items in value.
