gamigo and SpawnApps join forces to bring MMOs to Web browser

gamigo, one of the leading publishers of free-to-play online games in Europe, and SpawnApps, a deployment and streaming technology provider, have announced a browser version of "Fiesta Online, a free-to-play Fantasy-MMORPG" for the next quarter. After packaging Fiesta Online with SpawnApps technology, players will be able to play their game on their browser after less than 2 minutes compared to the 30 minutes required for the full download. gamigo is also working on providing the game through various Social Networks.

Patrick Streppel, member of the gamigo executive board: "SpawnApps' brilliant technology impressed us from the first moment we saw it: Fiesta Online in a browser with the same high quality graphics that gamers have become accustomed to from the client game. I am sure that we will be able to use SpawnApps to reach new groups of gamers - new players that will love our great gamigo games."

"Getting a client based MMO in browser is a challenging shift especially when you don't own access to the application's source code. At SpawnApps we are bridging the gap by providing non-intrusive streaming and web-embedding technology. We are proud to make it available to the gamigo teams. They show great expertise in leveraging such technology to bring Fiesta Online to a new audience." says Alexandre Macris, SpawnApps President.
